Let's stop cyberbullying!
Being social and being online has so many benefits. However, like many things in life, it comes with risks. One increasingly concerning risk has been the newest form of bullying, cyberbullying. The relentlessness of both bullying and cyberbullying can be detrimental for the young generation, and the school staff needs to be equipped with the skills and knowledge to recognise and diffuse the harmful situations.
Program
In this course you will be able to learn themes such as:
- Understand the various forms of bullying and deeper knowledge about impacts, risks factors and long-term effects on both victims and bullies;
- How to identify bullying;
- How to build a positive classroom environment and develop social and emotional learning;
- How to enforce a school policy plan on tackling and preventing bullying at school;
- Discuss the line between illegal behavior and illegal behavior.
This course was made for teachers, school staff and personnel, youth workers, as well as any person working in the education system, who strive to increase their knowledge and develop their skills.
